Charissa is an American sportscaster born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst who was hired as co-host of SportsNation in 2012. She hosted the ABC show Splash together with Joey Lawrence. She hosted the ABC program Splash alongside Joey Lawrence.. Thompson was born in and was raised in Seattle Washington. At an early age, she was aware that her ultimate goal was broadcasting. She was a graduate of Inglemoor High School located in Kenmore Washington. Thompson relocated to California so she could attend the California Community college. Thompson then was transferred into University of California Santa Barbara. in Law and Society in 2004. Thompson stated that although Sports Illustrated stated she attended UC Santa Barbara before transferring from UC Santa Barbara to a California Community College, she wasn't enrolled at Washington State. Prior to her sports broadcasting career Thompson was approached by Sports Illustrated offering her to be featured in body paint for a Swimsuit issue. She is the lead singer of New York based band Against the Current. Infinity, their album, debuted in during 2014 by the group. YouTube was the place which they started to be recognized through their cover art. They along together with Against the Current did a collaboration with She and Against the Current did a collaboration with Alex Goot on the cover of Good Time by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen.
