Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the US. After becoming famous through his role in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor has appeared in more than 20 feature films like The Core. He's also been in 22 shows on television, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order as well as Law & Order. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled the disease ever since. After two years of treatment, his cancer went into remission. But the treatment at this early stage caused a significant impact on his body. It also slowed his growth. Because he was a child of poor circumstances, he was determined to achieve financial stability. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have to have that financial security or the world feels out of control for me he said in an interview. He looks back on his youth and feels an urge to do something against bullies. His experience of being a victim is heartbreaking for him. DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel as well as in real life. He does however admit that directors don't usually choose him for these kinds of characters. One day he'd like to be a father himself in the future, when he could be able to devote much less time and energy to his profession and more time with his children.
