Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting career after enrolment at Stanford University. At the beginning of her career, she was in roles in movies like Pleasantville or Election. It was Elle Woods' portrayal in Legally Blonde which marked a significant turning point. Witherspoon was awarded an Academy Award, in 2005 in her role as Walk the Line. Water for Elephants this means war and Wild are among her recent films, for which she was nominated for an Oscar. Witherspoon enjoyed great success as both the TV star and producer in David E. The daughter of a physician and nurse Witherspoon lived at Nashville Tennessee where she was the first debutante to attend Harpeth Hall a private all-girls high school. She made her feature film debut in the 2003 comedy The Invisible Man. From there, she went on to make appearances on a range of shows on television, like House of Lies Whitney and Better Call Saul. The credits on her film resume comprise The Dictator, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Dictator. Alongside her acting profession, she's an experienced painter who has shown her work in numerous galleries.
